Yesterday, February 25, AT&T and OnStar, a subsidiary of General Motors, announced an agreement for AT&T to provide an enhanced, wireless suite of safety, security, diagnostic and infotainment services to most Chevrolet, Buick, GMC and Cadillac vehicles, beginning in 2014 in the United States and Canada.
Through the length of this multi-year agreement, AT&T will bring 4G LTE mobile Internet access to GM vehicles. GM’s move to integrate 4G LTE services in vehicles in the U.S. and Canada is part of a broader global strategy.

AT&T completed the installation of two new 4G LTE-capable Distributed Antenna Systems (DAS) to enhance the customer experience throughout the LP Field and Bridgestone Arena. This will help distribute consistent, wireless coverage and provide a more efficient management of wireless capacity in heavily trafficked areas.
