The LG Optimus G on AT&T offers speed and a great display

As announced on the AT&T consumer blog, the LG Optimus G went on sale today, November 2. Priced at $199.99 with a two-year contract, this quad-core, Android 4 phone is a solid and incredibly fast addition to the AT&T 4G LTE network.

The LG Optimus G packs a 1.5 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro processor, 2GB RAM, and runs on AT&T’s 4G LTE network. After using the phone for few days, it was evident that speed is not lacking with the interface, apps, or network. The AT&T network here in the Nashville area demonstrated 24.46 Mbps down and 13.52 Mbps up. This is faster than many home internet services.
