Starting today, December 14, owners of the Samsung Galaxy S III and Verizon Customers will be happy to know that Jelly Bean, Android 4.1, will begin pushing to their devices. While the rollout will be in phases for Verizon customers, those who would like to manually download the upgrade can do so through the settings menu over this next week.
The update is a pretty easy process to complete, just make sure you have a good amount of battery life. This update also makes the smartphone Global Ready. With many new features and improved performance, it is worth the time to download and install.

Verizon announced today, June 4, customers will be able to preorder the Samsung Galaxy S III starting June 6 at 7 a.m. atwww.verizonwireless.com/galaxys3. The phone will be available in 16 GB and 32 GB models for $199.99 and $249.99 respectively with a new two-year customer agreement.
Verizon indicates that the phone will be available in Marble White and Pebble Blue. Customers will need to subscribe to a 4G LTE mobile broadband data packages, which start at $30/month for 2 GB of data.
