Today, September 5, Verizon and Motorola Mobility announced three new Droid RAZR devices exclusive to the Verizon 4G LTE network. These three new devices are the Droid RAZR M, Droid RAZR HD, and the Droid RAZR Maxx HD.
Each Droid will run Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich and be upgradable to 4.1, Jelly Bean by the end of the year. All of these new phones will feature a 1.5 GHz dual-core processor and 1 GB RAM. With an 8-megapixel camera and a microSD card slot, these Droids are ready for you to capture or play back the media of your choice.
The Droid RAZR M is available for pre-order today at $99.99 after a $50 mail-in rebate and a new two-year customer agreement that must include a Verizon Wireless data plan. The other two devices will be available before the holidays.
The Droid RAZR M is being classified as a full-screen phone and available in black and white. It is a compact device with an edge-to-edge 4.3-inch Super AMOLED™ Advanced display. The Droid RAZR M’s Smarticons feature maximizes battery efficiency with every charge, allowing customers to browse the Web and watch videos without worrying about draining their device’s battery.
The Droid RAZR HD will bring performance and power to your smartphone experience. The device has a larger 4.7-inch Super AMOLED HD display allows movies, photos, magazines and even websites to appear with vivid clarity. It has 78 percent more pixels for a more vibrant display and features 40 percent greater battery than the original Droid RAZR.
The Droid RAZR Maxx HD promises to bring long battery life. It will raise the industry standard for battery life with 32 hours of normal use. This device is thin, has enough battery power for 13 hours of straight video playback without needing a charge.
