If you stopped by the Best Buy web page today, December 10, you will have noticed a discount on the iPhone 5 and iPhone 4S. Best Buy is offering $50 off any new iPhone 5 or iPhone 4S with a new two-year contract.
This price reduction will lower your initial costs for the iPhone 5 to $149.99 on the 16 GB model, $249.99 for the 32 GB model, and $349 for the 64 GB model. The iPhone 4S with 16 GB of memory will cost a consumer $49.99 with a new two-year agreement. These are the lowest prices for the new iPhone 5 yet.
TUAW is reporting that Best Buy will honor the offer through January 5, 2013 for in-store purchases and January 2, 2013 for online orders. Checking stock in local Nashville stores indicated availability in many locations. If you order online, you will also receive free shipping.
If you were considering the iPhone as your next phone, this may be the best time and the right retailer. Other stores, such as Radio Shack are offering smaller discounts with a similar two-year agreement.
If you have stopped by Best Buy to purchase a new iPhone within the last 60 days, stop by the store again. They have been known to honor a price guarantee. The refund will likely be in a Best Buy gift card. However, with the holidays right around the corner, spending the $50 should be easy.
