Yesterday, January 4, AT&T announced Unite, a new touchscreen 4G LTE mobile hotspot from Sierra Wireless. While pricing hasn’t been released yet, users will be able to add this device to their Mobile Share plan for $20 a month.

The AT&T Unite comes with a simple 2.4-inch touchscreen display and can connect up to 10 devices at once. The touchscreen is nice and will ease the use of managing connected devices and changing network and device settings. If you are worried about how much data is being consumed, you can see that information right on the screen.

The Unite also allows a guest hotspot for those that wish to share their connection with someone for a one-time use. You can later block a user right from the touchscreen.

“This new mobile hotspot makes customers’ lives easier by allowing them to stay connected to family, friends, and work while on-the-go and on any Wi-Fi enabled device,” said Jeff Bradley, senior vice president, Devices and Developer Services, AT&T. “Coupled with our Mobile Share plans, the AT&T Unite is a compelling and valuable option for connecting to the nation’s largest 4G network.”

More information on pricing and availability may make its way into the media as CES kicks off this year. Check your local AT&T stores for availability.
